About Emily
Emily is a vocal instructor and performer based in the Yarra Valley. She works with teens and adults who want to develop their voices, build confidence, and enjoy singing with more ease and freedom.
With degrees in both music and teaching, and years of training in vocal pedagogy, Emily takes a functional approach to voice. She helps singers learn how to manage breath, move smoothly between registers, find balance, and strengthen their sound without strain. Her aim is to give students tools that support their singing now and set them up for healthy voice use long-term.
Emily has performed widely, from international tours with a vocal ensemble to appearances with Sydney Philharmonia Choir, Hans Zimmer Live, and One Republic at the NRL Grand Final. Alongside teaching privately, she has also directed and supported school and community musicals including Annie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Pirates of Penzance Jr.. She also works with VCE and AMEB students, as well as singers who simply want to experience the joy and wellbeing that comes from developing their voice.
Whether preparing for a performance, working towards exams, or just exploring their vocal potential, Emily creates a welcoming and encouraging space where singers can grow.
